Hi, my name is Dan and I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am nearly at 5 months growth and my goal is to grow out a really thick beard. Am looking forward to reaching my half yeard milestone goal in mid-February and hopefully continue on towards the yeard. Most of you already know me, if you don't here are a couple of photos taken in the last month or so. All the best, irishDan.

I am Keith, I already did this in the Off Topic section. So I will do the beard stuff here. I am growing my beard uncut/untrimmed A/O June 15 2013. I originally quite cutting my hair in June 2011, grew some POS 3 month beard in the summer of 11. I maintained that, whilst my balding head was producing a balding man's ponytail. In Feb/Mar of 2013 I started to let my beard grow out. I trimmed it off and on until June of 2013. I even cut some off the chin for my sides to catch up. I know now that was a fruitless endeavor, although it sounded logical. I use to trim my mustache with scissors to keep the hair out of my mouth. I quit on my natural neck line in the early spring of 2013. I last trimmed my dozen or so random hairs of my cheek line, I would guess May of 2013. In June of 2013 I cut some random hairs. At that point I figured it did not matter. I let things keep on growing and saw that for me trimming was a complete waste of time and effort. I have the natural neck/cheek line that many of the hairy men would love to have. Of course they have the hair all over the place that I want. DNA can be a bitch. So that is my basic story and I am sticking with it. If you want to find out the stuff that matters about me go to the Off Topic section. I started some thing called Who the Heck are You? At least that is what I think it is. Here is a link to it. I think this a good spot to tell of your non beard junk. There is much more to us than beards, as most here seem to know what the heck we are doing. At least I do. Keith Who The Heck are You??? | Bearded Men

I guess this must be the place to make introductions so here goes some stuff about me. My board name "weekilter" is explained by the fact that I'm decidedly short (on one end) and also because years ago (at least ten IIRC) I've been a wearer of "traditional" and casual kilts à la Utilikilts and wear them often partly because as of July 1, 2003 I quit demon tobacco and as a result did enough weight gain to make regular jeans/slacks/trousers very uncomfortable to wear and kilts are a little more forgiving. I grew up in the state of Maine where I spent a good 22 years of my life before moving to various parts of Cape Cod for several years and then spent some time in Rhode Island for a few years and then decided to try another year in Maine, but I guess I wasn't really ever going to get back to the frigid winters of Maine and decided that I needed to be "where it was happening" and moved to Houston. Houston may have a lot of pluses for several things but there are more minuses than pluses. I moved to Seattle in 1993 and have been there ever since, The only place that I like better would be Vancouver, BC.
As far as bearded I've been bearded totally during my whole time in Seattle (20 years) and many years before that.

Hello everybody, my name is Troy and I'm from Houston, Tx. I've had facial hair of different lengths for a couple years now, but have been growing untrimmed since the end of August. I don't have a particular goal for my beard, but will always be bearded!
Glad to be a part of this new board. Here are a few recent pics...
