Maybe it's the Duck Dynasty effect but I am seeing more and more really long beards. At dinner Friday night and a young guy probably in his 20's had a huge beard that made mine feel tiny.
Today at lunch at a small restaurant 2 young guys with enormous beards, seems to be more and more mainstream. I have a long way to go!

I am starting to see a few around here that aren't full white/grey too. I'm thinking there is a beard revolution happening by the younger crowd. Gone is the pretty boy metro sexual look, it's manly beard time!

Colorado. I'm glad to see more beards as I'm out, even if they are carved/trimmed beards.

Same here, horseman, you rarely see very heavily bearded men in everyday life here, so getting stares and the odd comment when you have one is quite common. Still it's great to see more men growing beards, even if they are kept very short. It's a step in the right direction and anything that gets rid of this metrosexual obsession is a good thing. Would really like to see more really big manly beards. Sadly they're still the exception.

No, I never even heard of it before joining the Beard Board. I don't think there would be an audience for it over here. Audiences here wouldn't get it.

I live in Manchester, Tennessee. Beards, and long haired men are all over the place. I am so glad I do not hear crap like Duck Dynasty. A couple of church ladies said it and I said I have nothing to do with that crowd. I am growing a Keith Dynasty beard.
GROW BABY GROW!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to be compared to them or associated with them. I am my own self. No different than the ZZ Top, or Jesus etc.

I live in Iceland and I see the big beard revolution here to. Some say it started with a famous musician, Muggison, here who grew a long beard and many of the younger generation started to imitate him, but I think it's not just that, I think it's more world wide and hopefully a long lasting thing, not just few month fashion.
