So my biggest passion is the automobile. I have owned a ton over the years from my first car which was a 1978 Datsun 280Z to my current 2002 911 turbo and 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I like to mod them, take them to the road course and drag strip. My four door family sedan ran a 10.7 at 128 mph this past year! Not bad for a car that weighs 4600 pounds with my fat butt in it!.

I do not currently have pictures of my boring POV collection. I have a 2001 Chevy S-10 with 48000 miles on it. I have a 2003 Camry with 130000 miles on it. I also had a 2005 Volvo semi truck. That was sold in July 2011. I will post pictures when I take some. I will give out this one piece of old man advice. The 23000 dlrs I spent on a 4 door Camry XLE was the best automotive purchase I have ever made. The only maintenance that I have done is just your basic wear and tear. I think Toyota/Camry has not figured out the old "planned obsolescence" thinking.

Buddy - You have some fun cars. Which one do you like the most? Do you have a pickup? You can always drive the tractor trailer. I drove my brothers after 1 1/2 years off. It was amazing how I felt like I just drove a big truck yesterday. I guess it is more part of me that I thought. I am sure his truck being the same model and having the same drive train as what I had did not hurt any.

Hey Keith,
I have a Camry XLE too. Almost as soon as I hit 200,000 the transmission decided to give up on me 1 mile from home. I would've pushed it, since it's real light, but here in MO, hills. $65 for a tow 1 mile. Luckily, I found a transmission for it at a scrap yard for $300 and it's back to running like a champion. I've had 2 Jeeps, the true loves of my life, but this Camry hits a soft spot for me. Not sure why I love it so much, but I do. Had to completely take the front end apart to get that damn thing swapped out. What a pain in the ass. You're right about the whole "planned obsolescence" thing. I doubt this car will ever stop. I'll just have to be nicer to the transmission and ease up on the lead foot.

Keith hard to say which is my favorite. They are completely different cars, the Caddy is the four door family car that hauls ass! And the Porsche is the sports car for taking to the road course. Love them both!
My son has a pickup and I use to have a GMC four door dually, loved that thing! Kind of hard to park though.
My wife has a SUV and my daughter drives a Honda. My youngest daughter gets her license in August and she wants a pickup, so have to find a good used one.
